drought 3 and dedication 2 best mixtapes ever but this shit is still fire

No Ceilings is up there with Dedication 1/2 and Drought 3. This tape is nice, and I didn’t expect this from Wayne, with all the other watered down songs he’s been putting out.

Its cool, nice punchlines, nothing groundbreaking anyone with ears and an unbiased opinion knows its a solid 3.5/5, hiphop is much more than just punchlines, but I can vibe to this, especially considering some of the other shit he puts out.

its an mixtape not an album thats the point some of u are missing… artist have more freedom on mixtapes so what does direction have to do with anything… shit was hot dude freestyled the whole thing..n its still better than half hip-hop albums out rite now

No Ceilings..I was watching the commerical on MTV Jams and what shocks me about Lil Wayne is that..He can make a career off of dismantling other artists beats..but if anybody else haven’t notice is that he get so into the flow on another artists beat that he sometimes appear to be taking shots..Wayne say whatever you want on these commericals about how “you ain’t trying to kill rappers just the beats”, but the real hip hoppers know the truth..How close do you think you can get taking subliminal shots at greater artists before its a career shakedown??? By having one of the more dominant label with the least success isn’t good enough to classify you as the Greatest..Mixtapes only count for street value it doesn’t serve a major purpose in the industry..Its like working an under the table job..although you qualify for it you don’t get the proper credit for your work…

haha thats a good point about c3 but i think i was more saying the style of no ceilings… the punch line after punch line is what i loved about the tape and wayne for that matter… i feel ike most of c3 was made for the radio, which in turn i’m not hatin on it c3 was a decent album just not what i was expecting from him nor what i wanted to hear but hey you can’t please everyone

Carter 3 was a bait album for the mainstream crowd (skaters, sub urb kids, white boys, groupie girls etc.) Carter 4 will be like the Carter 2 sound wise.
