Lil Wayne Leading The Hip Hop Sales This Week; Upcoming Album Releases Including New MC Eiht Album
by on February 17th, 2010
Lil Wayne's Rebirth is currently doing modest numbers on the charts, moving 89,000 copies this week, to bring its two-week total to 265,000. His label's debut, We Are Young Money, shipped another 20,000 to bring their total to just over 310,000.
Jigga & Eminem sat behind them at 43rd and 48th moving 19k and 16k respectively to bring their totals to: 1,615,000 & 1,840,000.
The biggest surprise this week on the charts was the return of Sade. The Nigerian R & B singer debuted at number #1 after releasing her first album in ten years, she moved just over 500,000 copies with limited promo.
Upcoming Album Releases:
Before we get into the upcoming albums, let's discuss my man's Loso, in case you didn't know so, he has been delaying his upcoming MIXTAPE since Christmas for one reason or another. Now finally he admits, he submitted it DJ Drama, and it is 95% done.

Smh. I expect it to be released in April.
Hopefully these upcoming albums aren't as delayed as Fab.
