by on August 18th, 2009
Two rappers that can't seem to put an album out on time will soon be profiled on one of Television's most appealing music programs.
Hip Hop power players Lil Wayne and 50 Cent will be kicking off the resurrection of Vh1's iconic Behind The Music series.
The show, which originally ran from 1997 to 2006, before it was stopped and continued to air new episodes sporadically, focuses on a musician or musical group, documenting both the successes of the musicians and the problems they faced during their careers.
Lil Wayne will be profiled on the show's return to the channel's regular rotation on September 10th at 9pm et/pt.
According to the Interscope website, 50 Cent will follow suit a month later as he will be profiled on the October 13th episode airing at 8pm et/pt.
50's Behind The Music air date is rumored to coincide with the new release date for his highly anticipated forthcoming LP, 'Before I Self Destruct.'
