My name has no bearing on the topic either. I’m assuming you think that my name is somehow misspelled. When someone spells Alicia like “Alisha” or “Aleesha” it’s not misspelled, it’s called a name fool. You can’t misspell a name.
Also, where do you get your figures from? “99.9% of hip hop is anti gay?” I wouldn’t bet my life on that.
Also, if we were stuck in a 1950s mentality I’m not so sure so many rappers and hip-hop listeners would be trying to jack the skinny jeans nowadays. Even before the New Boyz, Wale and KiD CuDi are evidence of a changing style in the new school, and Kanye is making “gay fish” (despite the unfunniness) okay apparently. Lil’ Wayne can kiss a man on the mouth, and continue to survive. And nobody is really saying “no homo” anymore.
If anything, I think YOUR mentality is that of the 50s or at least 90s if you haven’t seen all of these new changes since then.
Regardless, I’m not a Kanye fan, he’s got talent, I give the dude that much, I respect him as an artist. I just hate the motherfucker as a person, like a lot of people. Not hating or anything, I just think he has no morals. I’ll bring up the MTV Awards, he had no right. A nineteen year old girl won her first award in a more pop/hip hop-central television station as a country artist. Fuck, he’s despicable.

1. They pulled a stunt with Em and Bruno literally months before that awards show and said it was rehearsed.
2. MTV has zero credibility, they need people talking about them (what better way?)
3. Taylor Swift is the perfect “victim” (young, white, attractive, innocent, helpless, etc.)
4. No one else could be scripted any better than Kanye (known to say/do some dumb shit, so when people start talking about how much of a dbag he is, there’s really no negative outcome because everyone already knows this)
5. Beyonce is known for being very classy so now it makes her look even better for helping out Taylor.
6. It’s free publicity for everyone. Taylor gets people talking about/feeling sorry for her (more sales), Beyonce gets people talking about how classy she is (more sales), Kanye gets people talking about how big of a dbag he can be, but whats new? (more sales), MTV gets people talking about them again (more viewers=more money).
I’m not 100% sure obviously, but I find it very hard to believe it wasn’t staged.
