The Green Lantern tapes (that pre-date his signing to Def Jam) and the MM series are his best works as far as I see it.

Budden is a beast, a monster, his MM mixtapes are better than most niggas whole albums. True. But his label releases are just disappointing to me thats all.

I wouldnt have posted so much on this thread if I didnt like Budden. Niggas just get SO defensive sometimes like their favorite rapper never makes any mistakes. Like, for real, if you thought “Joe Budden” or “Padded Room” were actually good CD’s than we just have a difference of opinion man thats all. Yall niggas need to lighten up for real.

The whole escape route collection is a classic collection of work IMO. MM collection is dope, crack, and can listen to it anytime. I think we both agree with that. But I personally enjoy the escape route shit more because he opens up his tormented mind to the public. The dude has issues like everyone else but the way he can poeticly display his pain is something no other artist can do… other then Charles Hamiltion IMO. Pain is a strong emotion and if an artist can use it and focus it into their work it speaks volumes into the personality. And Joe Buddens has a personality that I can relate to. And I agree that some people get sensitive about artists. I suport my fav artists by buying their album… not being a internet thug.
