Jim Jones Goes Back To EI Music
by on December 2nd, 2009
Jim Jones has left his 50/50 deal at Columbia Records, and he has re-signed with the house that he built, E1 Music, formerly known as Koch Records.
The contract is for one mixtape and one album release through the distribution company.
Former DipSet Capo, Jim Jones has a long history with E1, including being named Vice President of urban A&R last January.
“Jim Jones put Koch on the map,” label prez Alan Grunblatt said in a previous statement. “He truly knows what it takes to make a hit record. I am thrilled to be working with him for many years to come.”
Jimmy Jones' next studio album is scheduled to hit shelves in Spring 2010.
