Who favorited?Jim Jones Gets VP Gig At Koch

After hitting a bump in the road with a recent assault charge, Jim Jones is starting the year off on a high note.
The Harlem Diplomat has joined Koch Record's executive staff as Vice President of Urban A&R.
“It feels good to know that the hard work has been recognized by the same people that have helped me get to this point in my career,” Jones told AllHipHop.com in a statement.
“They recognize that I’m not only an artist but a person that can smell talent and be able to mold a superstar.”
Jones will be responsible for signing and developing new talent for the Urban Division of Koch Records.
“He truly knows what it takes to make a hit record. I am thrilled to be working with him for many years to come,” Koch's General Manager, Alan Grunblatt stated.
The first release under Jones’ tenure with Koch will be the debut album by Juelz Santana’s new group, Skull Gang, which is due in stores February 24.

^^How the fuck did Jimmy get the VP gig. I’m not hating, congrats to Jim, but how the fuck did he get that job?? Who has Jim ever put on?? What’s his resume?? Cam don’t fuck with him, Max B don’t fuck with him….most niggas associated with him don’t like him. His “company” isn’t even his, Cam founded and established Dipset!
Don’t forget the fact that he is still the director of A&R for Warner Music Group.
