For those who are looking forward to demise Of Auto-Tune lead by Jay-Z should also be thanking Auto-Tune supporter KanYe West.
"He (KanYe) actually sparked the idea," Jay-Z told Billboard.com;
"When he heard the beat he said, 'Man, this is just so hard! This has to be against everything -- no auto-tune, none of that type of stuff!' He didn't know what I was going to do or where I was going to take it, but it was actually his fault."
Jay-Z also informed Billboard that him & Yeezy and actually recorded a song using Auto-Tune but once they came up with D.O.A, they felt they had to scrap the song.
"After we made the 'D.O.A.' record about a month ago." Jigga explained, "We were like, 'if it's got to go, it's got to go.'"
BluePrint 3 is set to hit shelves September 11, on the anniversary of his first BluePrint album, on Roc Nation with distribution via Atlantic Records.

i could care less if Jay plays cards and sips wine or hang-glides. his life doesn’t affect me. but one thing to take in perspective is you’re 22 and he’s 40. why in God’s name would a 40 year old man want to shoot dice on the block while drinking forties?
Jay’s rich. R-I-C-H. you may not see folks in our class bracket sipping imported wine, smoking cigars and playing poker with Harvey Keitel but you see plenty of rich folks doing those things.
auto-tune is a fad. i won’t say its good or bad but it won’t be here two years from now. remember when you HAD to have Lil John screaming on your record? remember when Ja Rule was dueting with every R&B singer on the planet and owning the charts? remember hyphy? remember snap music? remember reggaeton? all those fads happened this decade.
And wine has almost twice as much alcohol in it as beer so I dunno what your talkin about it not able to get you twisted. Personally I think the shit tastes like ass but everyone got their own thing going on and acquired tastes.
I find that hard to believe.
