Who favorited?Jay-Z Soars To #1 On The Hot 100

Since the release of The Blueprint 3, Jay-Z has been living on the top of the Billboard charts, but recently fell out of the top 10 for the first time since the album was released.
Now Hov can claim a new top spot, and that is number one on Billboards Hot 100 with his latest single “Empire State of Mind” featuring Alicia Keys.
This will be the fourth time the Brooklyn MC has found himself sitting at number one. Previously Hov was on top with featured verses on Mariah Carey's "Heartbreaker" in 1999, Beyonce’s "Crazy In Love" in 2003 and Rihanna's "Umbrella” in 2007.
"Empire State of Mind" is also Alicia Keys' fourth overall No. 1, as she previously topped the list with her debut single "Fallin'" in 2001, her collaboration with Usher, "My Boo," in 2004 and her hit single "No One" in 2007.
The record has skyrocketed up the charts, as it rose 6-1 on the Radio Songs chart up 15 million listener impressions to 109.5 million. It is the biggest climb to No. 1 since Kanye’s "Stronger" jumped 7-1 in 2007.

There were only 3 songs on BP3 that we bumped here in south park. The rest of that shit was doo.

marketing sells, not quality. critically acclaimed albums rarely do well.
example: carter 2 wayyy better than carter 3. why did carter 3 sell? bc he kept pushing the album back and hopped on every track.
