General Motors Pulls Out On 50's New Truck, Set To Market Liquor

http://media.defsounds.com/uploads/assets/1484/1508/11376/asset.jpgIt looks like the recession has struck New York rapper 50 Cent once again. The hip hop mogul, who has admitted to losing a couple of million in the stock market already, has lost a sponsorship deal with General Motors.

General Motors Corporation has confirmed today (January 7) plans to cancel the Pontiac G8, a two-door, six-foot bed vehicle sponsored by 50 Cent.

The truck, set for release in 2010, was first introduced by 50 last March at the New York International Auto Show.

Pontiac spokesman Jim Hopson stated the cancellation is part of a restructuring plan within GM due to the recession and the company’s long-term “vision for Pontiac.”

In related news, Fif and fellow Violator Management artist, Busta Rhymes will be sponsoring new lines of liquor thanks to a new deal struck by the company.

Violator Management, and Drinks Americas will have the rappers market a Leyrat Cognac and Sparkling Vodka brands.

Fif's album, Before I Self Destruct, is set to hit stores on February 3rd.

FIF Album GOTTA BE GREAT point blank. His MUSIC is the reason he got all those endorsements and investments. If BISD flops (in the public eyes) he can forget about all the Corporate attention.

I kinda shocked you didn’t know that seeing that you a G-Unit fan and all. Well anyway, Hopefully Before I Self Destruct will be good. curtis was not as great as I predicted but hopefully he’ll do better on this one.
