Game Questions America's School Systems
by on January 26th, 2010
Game, via twitter, expressed his displeasure with the America school system, but admits that everybody should and must go.
"After you learned how to read & do addition, what else did we need school for that we use in everyday life as an adult ?," he wrote Monday (January 25). "Cuz I swear I can't remember half the sh*t in them History books, my writin still sloppy, & I aint seen a microscope since science class ! well, sex education was MOST definitely appreciated !...I think school was a government's plot to keep track of us & program our lives. up at 7, out at 3pm five days a week. caught in the matrix but as a parent, I just dropped my kids off @ school & ah getta break from em' .. them 2 dudes is animals ! I get it, school is a babysitter Martin Luther King said: "The reason we in school 13 yrs is because, that's how long it takes to DESTROY a child's mind" .#nuffsaid but kids, STAY IN SCHOOL. we all gotta do it....... Aye, but I'm from Compton so maybe it was just our school system that aint really do shit for us. My teachers wore khaki suits n ere'thang."

I’m not saying there isn’t some level of unnecessary bs, but damn Game. Just telling everybody school’s worthless. Just because you didn’t need it.
they should be teaching u shit thats gonna help u actually perform tasks at work, like doing shit in a hospital or something, not worthless things like high-tech math that will most likely never be used
history is important though, i mean come on u should know the history of ur country in order to appreciate it, and it might open ur eyes to what u really have compared to other places
but yea alot of shit in school is dumb, it kinda is daycare but u do sill have to do it
Fucking bullshit. 90% of the most ignorant people I’ve met got a damn degree.
and as far as it being a government plot, you could make a case for that… idk about you guys, but where i live, through middle school they put you on “teams”. there are usually 4 teams in most school with names like team a, b, c, and d. my mom was a teacher and she said the way they chose your team was by what you were “supposed” to do in life. like all the kids on team a showed that they were better with there hands and could be good technical workers when they finish school. team b would be all smart kids who were supposed to go on and do things with math or science. team c would be charismatic people to join a career path that worked with other people. and d would be the dumbest kids that they didnt plan on teaching much of anything to. and you would mostly have classes with just the kids on your team, so they could change the way they teach for each group of kids… they pretty much had what they wanted you to do with your life determined and they taught you accordingly.
but i agree wit him a lil bit, not fully tho.. there is a lot you can get out of education past addition and reading lol
School is to help kids learn different subjects and become interested in something so they can have a good idea what to do with their life.
Obviously Game doesn’t see the point because now he just makes music, but not everyone is going to have a shot like that.
Plus school is a good way to meet new people and establish a social life and it’s FREE, so might as well take advantage and get a high school diploma.
As for the social life…yeah it’s a good learning experience for what kinda happens out in the “real world” (cheaters, hard workers, jokers, slackers, etc.) but the only people that I even think have an idea what they wanna do in life at the early stages of school are athletes and people who are artists of some kind.
The real decision is going to college of some kind cause that’s when you have to pay thousands for something that you’ve decided is going to be your career.
School isn’t “free” since there are taxes (I’m in Canada), but it’s something that is needed.
Who wants to live in a country/area with poor education? It would make the economy even worse in the future.
Of course many people don’t know what they want to do early on in school, hence why there’s so many grades and different courses, especially in high school.
Hell, I didn’t know what I wanted to do until I was in grade 12.
Very few people can have a good life without an education, you’d pretty much have to win the lottery.
Most people need an education to get a steady job to live off of.
And if you go to college for a “career that most of the time you won’t get into”, then, it’s pretty much your fault for not trying harder to get into that field or wasting your time and money for taking that course in the first place.
YOU WERE A FUCKIN STRIPPER AND NOW UR A WASHED UP RAPPER!
if u were like me ud use wat u learned in high school to get into college—-dumb fuck
its no government conspiracy—kids need to be in school or theyd be getting themselves into trouble (kinda like how 90% of kids who drop out of school are involved in some shit), we need high school education to determine where u go to college, we need a high school education because without the basics u wont want to learn more and ull be happy with knowing 1+1=2 and ur colors…fuck outta here
so game for once i’ll give u a pass
( D -) all day faggots fuck geeks
I really hope ur not saying black people—that would imply that we are less intelligent and not able to adapt to a very straightforward school system
high school was the easiest time of my life—got 3.5 in high school…meanwhile i got a 1.223 my first semester at college and it took me 3 semesters to get back to a 3.5
if u cant handle the “difficulties” of high school you aren’t ready to handle the actual difficulties of life—-like keeping a job, being responsible, raising a successful family, and moving up the ladder
