Who favorited?Fergie: "Kanye Has Made Hip Hop More Gay Friendly"

Kanye along with being one of the most outspoken hip hop artist of our generation, has also been one of the most openly tolorent to the gay,lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender culture. So much so that he openly defended people who choose to be gay a couple of years ago in an MTV interview.
His openness and tolerance towards that culture has often gotten him dubbed as a closet homosexual from his peers, but not Fergie; In her eyes Kanye has helped paved the way for a more tolorent Hip Hop.
According to Fergie, Her band Black Eyed Pea's along with Kanye West have helped to make hip hop a gay friendly enviorment with their creativity and acceptance of others. In an interview with The Advocate she explains;
"They're completely gay-friendly. Are you kidding me? Look at how they dress! Kanye West really did a great thing for hip-hop and made it very mixed and open."
The compliment comes as both a good and bad thing for Kanye who has often seems to be the butt of someones gay joke, just a year ago he was featured on Southpark, in a spoof that revealed he was a gay fish.
Kanye has not responded to the praise from Fergie.
