Despite previous reports, Eminem still reigns supreme on the charts, stopping Rick Ross from achieving his 4th number 1 album.
As Defsounds previously reported, according to hitsdailydouble, Rick Ross' Teflon Don would top the Billboard charts moving 188,816 copies in its opening week, and Eminem's Recovery album would be second selling 187,968 units.
Now the official numbers are in, and hitsdailydouble estimates were off.
The official numbers according to Nielsen Soundscan, places Eminem on top of the charts for the 5th straight week moving just over 187,000 copies of Recovery, while Ross’ Teflon Don debuted at #2 moving 176,300 units.

The ONLY thing appealing to me about his music is that the beats are always on point and hes got a nice little flow. Nothing to rave about but Ricky can ride a beat pretty well.
Even if Ross took the spot, he would lose it again the next week.
When you got as many singles on the hot 100 as Shady does right now, thats a potential SHITLOAD of more people that might not have bought the album otherwise but went and copped it off the strength of that new song they heard on the radio.
