Drake's So Far Gone Named Mixtape Of The Year
by on December 14th, 2009
The dream year for T.Dot native Drake continues to get better. After being named MTV's 3rd hottest MC in the game, MTV has named his latest mixtape So Far Gone the mixtape of the year.
Some will dispute it being named mixtape of the year but the things accomplished with this mixtape is incredible. So Far Gone featured multiple songs featured on the radio at one time or another including the hits "Brand New" & "Successful". So Far Gone was later released as an EP and has garnered the latest Young Money signee two Grammy nominations.
His debut album, Thank Me Later, is tentatively set to be released in March 2010.

I didnt get the chance to download Weezys mixtape, so i dunno about it.
But i feel like War Angel LP was great as well.
And nah…BISD is better than War Angel in my opinion
I think Drake deserved it cause that shit had album quality… not even talking about the lyrics are anything like that, just the production was album quality.
I’m still holding my opinion on Drake until he releases an album. Wale and Cudi killed their albums and we will see how Drake matches up.
I still want to see more of the “Ignorant Shit” or “Ransom” Drake though.
Theres at least a dozen tapes i’d prefer to listen to, but I wouldn’t be able to make any argument saying theyre mixtape of the year
