Drake Warns About Scammers & Predicts KanYe's Next Album Will Be One Of The Best
by on February 19th, 2010
T.Dot native and Young Money frontman Drake has released a statement to address the rise in promoters using his name and image without his permission.
“It has been brought to my attention that false promoters and booking agents are illegally using my name and likeness to promote concerts and club appearances for their own financial gain,” Drizzy explained via statement. “It is frustrating for me to hear that many of my fans, who like myself are innocent victims in these scams, have been misled due to the greed of these promoters. I apologize to any fan that has been a victim of these circumstances or feels let down by false advertising. Please be assured that my team and I take these matters seriously and are actively cooperating with authorities. I cannot thank my fans enough for supporting my music and all that I do.”
Drake is solely booked through International Creative Management, and for the most up-to-date and accurate club & concert appearances visit Drake's official Myspace page.
Continuing his promo for his upcoming debut album Drake discussed working with KanYe West and his anticipation for Mr. West's upcoming album.
“His album is going to be one of the best hip-hop albums in the last 10 years,” he declared.
Drake's Thank Me Later is slated to hit shelves March 23rd and the first single will be Over, produced by Boy 1da.
