DMX Arrested In Miami, Yung Berg Gets Charges Dropped

http://media.defsounds.com/uploads/assets/2375/2393/9794/asset.jpgDMX, who missed a court date on Wednesday and was issued a bench warrant in Arizona, was picked up by local authorities outside of a Wal-Mart in Miami, Florida. His lawyer, Charles Kozelka, said he was literally in the process of working out a self-surrender when X was picked up. No word yet on whether X was in a rehab or not during his stay in Miami.

More than likely, DMX will be extradited back to Arizona to appear in front of the Maricopa County Superior Court who issued the warrant because of his failure to appear.

Also in other news, rapper Yung Berg, who reportedly did not even go to court yesterday, had his gun charges dismissed by the judge. The guns found during the incident last weekend in New York , were actually possessed and owned by his security. Berg will, however, still have to answer to marijuana and menacing charges in December, that were related to the same incident.
