I'm gone for a month and there's an uprising of retards with no end in sight?

Alright folks, I took some time off and got off my Obama shit showing my face every chance I could. Can a guy get a vacation after 3 years of non stop work for you?

In fact, I'm not quite sure what's going on here. Big Freeze posted a blog saying something he's been saying over and over again purely to get the attention of the users and not necessarily the staff because he and  I have discussed it already and it got deleted? 

Everyone's up in arms since his mic was turned off  after rapping about the same thing over and over again? Is that it?..is that the meat of the issue here (pause)?

Ok, let's address this.

You are correct, his blog shouldn't have been deleted.  As someone mentioned, it is extremely counter-productive (+5 points for you for utilizing the english language as it was intended.)

But let's remember what blogs are meant for--blogs are meant to discuss general or specific hip hop issue. They are meant for YOU to voice your opinion about Hip Hop and anything related to it.

Sure you can throw in some general media here and there, but let's try to stick to it. If you have a site specific complaint, why not send me a message with it?

As far as which blogs get promoted to the front page, I can't say this enough times--maybe I should make a blog specifically for it. 

YOU ARE IN CONTROL OF THE BLOGS THAT GET PROMOTED TO THE FRONT PAGE.

Stop complaining about Doo and his stupid ass blogs landing on the front page. The fact of the matter is, that lil retard has outsmarted most of  you and utilized the system as it was meant to be used. 

Write a blog, tell your friends to read it, tell your friends to prop it, it lands on the front page with enough props.  How much simpler can it be?Why are you really complaining about something you have complete control of?

Homo accounts (you know what I'm talking about)

Effective Monday, November 30th, 2009, all stupid ass accounts posting gay unnecessary shit in any part of the site will be removed and their IP's will be banned. That means you'll never be able to access Defsounds from your computer again. So if you're one of the tards fucking around, now is the time to stop.

Finally...

The staff we have here do the best they can for you. It's hard to please the masses  and there aren't many sites as dedicated to trying to do so more than DefSounds.

There aren't many --if any sites--as involved with their users as us.  It's not many of us, we're not living off this, we do it for the culture.

LyricalThought's reviews are generally on point with an un-bias ear. Just because YOU hated Before I Self Destruct, doesn't mean the album wasn't solid--specially for the last duds Fif has been dropping.

WhiteFolks--without him, you wouldn't get all the music you get from us on a daily basis. You wouldn't have gotten the Lupe mixtape as quickly as you did, hell, he even chopped it up into tracks for you ungrateful fucks.

TheChosenfew-- He's the redheaded stepchild no one cares about. But I'm sure if there was a fire and I had a choice between saving him and my laptop, I'd grab my laptop.

Anyways, in the spirit of Thanksgiving,  thank you all for being here, for being retards, for contributing to the site and for being a part of something that in time will be the greatest. We're a baby in this shit, and there's alot to be done. The next year is going to bring about alot of changes...stick with us and you won't be disappointed.
