David Banner Postpones Peace Rally Over Safety Concerns

According to reports, the rapper's Heal The Hood Foundation planned to hold the Something's Wrong Community Rally on Tuesday to raise awareness and develop solutions regarding the city's youth and gang violence issues.

The event was due to host a crowd of 700, but due to it's surging popularity, concerns grew over the number of people that may turn up.

The rally has been pushed back so organisers can accommodate the increased numbers expected to turn out for the event.

"This is a movement not to condemn kids or any organisations but the safety of the kids is my biggest concern, we want to stay on task and continue what we’ve started, we want everyone to have the opportunity to contribute." Banner said in a statement.

Good for us that David Banner stepped up. Off some real shit though; Where the fuck are the rest of the Chicagoians like lupe, kanye, common, rhymefest, twista? I know they made a song but fuck that go out there and talk to em. Muthafuckas got millions of dollars build some shit out there to keep em off the streets and make money if possible. I know this is a long shot but since the gov’t cant go in and save every kid and teen in a bad home situation why do they try to provide place where they can be most of the time community centers, homework centers, sports centers. Why is nothing happening???
