Coolio To Replace DMX In The Boxing Ring

Sources revealed at the time, that DMX pulled out of the fight, because his safety could not be guaranteed and that the fight promoters, Thunder Promotions refused his request to fix the fight.

Thunder announced at the time, that they where in search for a rapper to replace X in the ring.

Everything has come into place, and Thunder Promotions has found their replacement. As TMZ reported, rapper turned reality star Coolio has agreed to take the place of DMX, and he will square off with Eric Martinez at Alabama Pride in December.

Coolio and Martinez will fight the undercard for the headlining fight between Butterbean and Tank Abbott.

A Thunder Promotions spokesperson told TMZ that, "Coolio is going to take this seriously."

There still hasn't been any comment from DMX regarding him pulling out of the fight.
