Coolio Pleads Guilty, Avoids Jail Time

The charges stem from an incident early last month.

Coolio, whose real name is Artis Leon Ivey Jr., was arrested on March 6 at Los Angeles International Airport on suspicion of felony narcotics possession.

According to the New York Times, Coolio resisted arrest at the time, but in exchange for his guilty plea on Friday in a Los Angeles courtroom the authorities agreed to drop charges of battery and possession of a smoking device.

As part of the plea deal, Coolio will enter a drug rehabilitation program for 18 months and avoid the three year sentence he may have received if convicted on all charges.

Oh shit jflow I remember that video, lmao. He should have been glad Weird Al did a parody of his song. That means his song was a good one. Weird Al didn’t parody no bullshit ass song. He did a couple of MJ joints and MJ put his ass in one of his videos. Coolio should not have been trippin over that.
