Im glad to see the change to be honest..I think there was a time and a place for the Mixtape Messiah Dynasty and because of the success of the Dynasty its forced us as hip hop fans out of the age of complaining about how whack Soulja Boy is, or complaining about how watered down the industry is. I believe that with Dre, Jay-Z, Mos Def, Eminem, and Asher Roth dropping and the new age of artist (Drake, Kid Cuddi, Sky Zoo, Walle, Bishop Lamont just to name a few) HIP HOP IS BACK!.. so its my suggestion that while we search the media outlets looking for free hot music..we also SUPPORT the very thing that we search so desperately for and get into the stores and buy the music. Go to the ticketmasters and buy the tickets to the shows but Boycott that other bullshit trying to sneak its way in.. The return of hip hop as a genre is upon us!! but its up to us to do our part to make sure shes there for breakfast in the morning.

Koopa was on my top 10 artists for sure. This is a sad day for hip-hop fans. He was one of the only MC’s that didn’t even need to use slang to make his lyrics work and rhyme. IMO, he was the most underrated and one of the most talented artists in hip-hop.
