Budden was put in a very awkward situation just the other day. First he saw his ex girlfriend of five years [Tahiri] in the arms of his one time nemesis 50 Cent through leaked photo's.

Just days later one of his closest friends in the industry [Fabolous] had some choice barbs for his new squeeze Somaya Reece over twitter.

Those frustrations along with others seemed to be what inspired his most recent track  Roulette, where he discusses everything from his gripes with the rap industry, his relationship with Somaya Reece, and his thoughts on Tahiri. In the middle of that he made sure to deny that there wouldn't be any beef between he and his friend Fabolous.

"No beef with Beans, not a beef with Fab/Just fags that think I'm searching for a beef to grab/I'm too talented to reach for that/It take more than some Tweets, in fact/To get him off the leash..."

In an interview Budden spoke more in depth about that verse, and his relationship with rapper Fabolous.

"I thought that whole shit was really wack, really immature, really stupid. That whole shit that happened on Twitter. That shit really made me look at niggas in a different light. But it put me in a real awkward position because Fab can make a whole bunch of jokes on Twitter and everybody will laugh and think it's funny, because he's just making jokes.""That's my man. The amount of loyalty and respect that I have for Fab is out of this world. I probably have more respect for him than anybody else in rap because he helped usher me into the game. But that was some sucker shit. When I say sucker shit, I'm honestly not talking about nothing that Fab did. I may maybe feel like he went a little too far as far as some of them jokes went, some of them jokes really weren't funny to me. I'm talking about the blatant, fucking dickriding that the fans were doing. Fans are such fucking dickriders. There's a lot of backstory and no matter what I would say, it'd look like I'm defending a girl that I don't really know or it'd look like I'm getting really, really, personal because I don't know how to do anything else but be personal."

Budden is currently on tour with Slaughterhouse.
