The music industry mourns the lost of one of the most influential and controversial figures today as Michael Jackson passes away at age 50.
According to TMZ, Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon and paramedics were unable to revive him. When paramedics arrived, Jackson had no pulse. Paramedics were unable to get a pulse back, declaring the pop culture icon dead.
Inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1984, Jackson has had a notable impact on music and culture throughout the world. He broke down racial barriers, transformed the art of the music video and paved the way for modern pop music in his own country.
Jackson's work, distinctive musical sound and vocal style have influenced hip hop, pop and R&B artists, including Mariah Carey,Usher,Britney Spears,Justin Timberlake and R. Kelly.
For much of his career, he had an "unparalleled" level of worldwide influence over the younger generation through his musical and humanitarian contributions.Throughout his career he received numerous honors and awards, including the World Music Awards' Best-Selling Pop Male Artist of the Millennium, the American Music Award's Artist of the Century Award and the Bambi Pop Artist of the Millennium Award. He is a double-inductee of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, once as a member of The Jackson 5 in 1997 and later as a solo artist in 2001.
Jackson was also an inductee of the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2002.His awards include multiple Guinness World Records (eight in 2006 alone), 13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles in his solo career—more than any other male artist in the Hot 100 era—and the sale of over 750 million albums worldwide, making him the world's best selling male pop artist.

As for his music, I never liked it nor did I think he was talented and I never will. But I never wanted to see the dude die even if it doesn’t bother me in anyway.

It’s been proven that he was addicted to drugs, it was proven he fucked up his skin, it was proven he blew millions maybe even billions of dollars, its been proven that he dangled a child over a balcony. And it’s a fact that he slept with random kids, he admitted it. Whether he had sex with them or not is controversial, some say he did some say he didn’t. But you can’t deny that the man had mental problems.
I could care less how many people he motivated to get into the music industry, that doesn’t earn him anything in the grand scale of life. His legacy has been tarnished because of bullshit behavior that he did. And it’s your opinion he’s a legend, to some he’s just another sick S.O.B.

I can vibe with your what if your kid story, why, because at a studio where I taught once tha kid simply didn’t wanna do anything that took muscle or focus so she went home talking bout I grabbed her during technique while I was teaching tha whole class, it was a group of 14-17yr old girls, anyone that teaches kids knows someone would’ve definitely noticed, but obviously it was a ploy to paint me bad because tha young girl simply didn’t wanna say mom I wanna quit or its just too hard for me. So I lost 3 out of 12 girls, and tha F’d up part was tha other 2 know nothin happened. But as u are putting it, which is sadly true people panic and swallow stories bcuz it is easier to hear than to actually learn, learning brings about truths, everyone hears but not everyone learns, my college prof said that and its 1 of tha truest things ever. I was pissed and wanted to do something but could do nothing because gossip kills names, I saw 1 of tha girls tha next yr and asked why tha drop and she just said IDK mom said I had to, I am no where near Michael’s realm but tha BS happens all tha time and its not kool, I guess if you have tha power to make whole countries cry at tha sight of you walking in their street you also have tha power to be hated because of hearsay by millions. Isn’t guilty of what exactly? He admits to sharing the same bed with little boys and he pays a 13 yr old 20 million dollars, to essentially, keep his mouth shut. If you are innocent you do not do that. Bill O’Reilly did that and look at how many people, especially in the hip-hop community, go at him saying “innocent people don’t do that.”
I could care less who a person is, what they do, what their “status” is… if they ADMIT to sharing a bed with little boys I can not respect or like them.
