Wale, Wale, Wale….. SMH. Im an avid listener, more & more as time goes by his rhymes really don’t rhyme. His style is choppy and he uses that wordplay. Mind you i’m from P.G. right where he from so I still rock wit him but he really needs to deliver. I just feel that he talks around issues and topics, for instance, in that letter song about Obama and Tupac. He’s started off saying something like if I talk Obama will you listen. He should have said more solid things. He stated obvious things about obama that everyone knew already, so who is “saying Obama for attention”? hmmm I just think that although it might have been in all good intention wale has been screaming for attention and I hate when my favorite artists make it commercial because it like coca cola.

No matter how much you change the design, the taste will still be the same. Once you claim an image you feel obliged to represent that instead of change up and do what you like. Perfect example is westcoast rapper Blu he claims to be a poet and thats it. Wale wants to be a Tupac for D.C. … ok thats cool but what the fuck are you doing for D.C. directly are you going to schools to give speeches on the importance of school and talking to the kids in the streets. Naw you chasing what tupac had and the difference is that Tupac was just being him Wale is trying to be something else. Sorry Wale I know people would say why wouldn’t you put wale on but sometimes when i hear his arrogant gimmicky ass I feel like he’s trying to get socially concious rappers to make it big time but then why would they be socially concious cause they would be rich, no need then. Wale needs to stop urning for stardom cause he’ll realize soon enough that it’s not all that it’s cracked up to be
