hahahaha sleeper of the week. whitefolks pleeeeeeeeeeeeease tell us how much mikkey halsted is paying you to promo the fuck out of him. i mean it’s one thing to feel a dude and tell people to listen to him. it’s another to go to the level you do for a dude no one gives a shit about. there’s a reason halsted songs get less than 10 comments. because he is irrelevant to hip hop fans right now and will never make it as a solo artist. i don’t see how you don’t get that….

p.s. i’m not hating on mikkey’s grind at all i actually like some of his shit but god damn i don’t know how you can’t see what i’m saying.

Yo i remember getting on here reading up on mikkey about a year ago, and he still hasn’t done shit as of late. It’s funny you mentioned him, because in the beginning I said he was going to be irrevelant, and now he is LOL

just because we don’t live in chi town like you doesn’t mean we’re out of the loop. sure he might have a great buzz in the city, but it ends there. i agree chicago has an amazing amount of talent, my favorite artists come from there. but when it comes down to it, lupe could care less if a person he puts on his cd is relevant, as long as he fits what he wants for the song (he put bishop g on his last album). i think it’s pretty ridiculous to say that freddie gibbs has one of the biggest industry buzzes. i don’t know if you and him are friends on a personal level, or maybe since you’re from chicago you feel like you need to get someone from your city out there, but it’s incredibly obvious to anyone who is a regular on this site that you push for mikkey way more than any other artist. i’ve listened to about 2 of his mixtape and almost all of his singles release on here, and i’d have to say that i think tragedy tha beast’s last mixtape is better than anything of halsted’s i’ve heard. i know you guys cosign trag, which is dope bc i think he has incredible talent, but i just don’t see mikkey doing big things this year or any year. i could be wrong, but i doubt it. meantimes his songs will keep getting less than 10 comments and you will keep telling us how good he is haha. good for mikkey that other rappers are supporting him, i just do not see the public doing the same, and if this site is any representation of the rap listening public, i’m probably correct.
