Earlier this morning, I decided to check out the MTV Hottest MC In The Game poll to see the standings. To my surprise, Joe Budden was kicking some ass with 25% of the votes and 50 Cent was right under him.
I smelled some bullshit but I kept it moving.
I wrote up a quick story and posted it with our own bullshit-proof poll to which--surprisingly the votes have been similar with Budden in the lead, followed by Eminem, 50 Cent, and Lloyd Banks.
I took a trip over to the JBTV forums and stumbled upon a hilarious thread of Stans uniting to get Budden @ #1..now that part is rather obvious..they even used some finesse in their techniques--employing tools such as Macros and proxies--impressive.
The surprising part is how oblivious MTV and the "Brain Trust" seems to be to the obvious sabotage. They've release a couple of clips expressing their amazement that Joe is at #1 while 50 is at #2.
In a hilarious turn of events, the MTV poll has now become a warzone between ThisIs50.com & Joebuddentv.com.
But...they apparently have no idea--yet these people are the ones that are going to be sitting down once again to crown the hottest MC in the game?
So here's a better poll...does anyone care who MTV crowns the hottest MC in the game?

but i’d like to see budden get the respect he deserves
i mean..he’s so underrated and it seems like not alot of people understand the weight of his lyrics
but it seems it’s gettin better.i guess one of the reasons is slaughterhouse..

So my opinion is that i dont think anyone should care what MTV say’s but then again, Joe Budden and 50 have been putting in work lately.

joe budden does his thing, i been a joe budden fan for a lonnnnng time, when he put out his first album on def jam i bought that shit and its one of my favorite albums ever, he deserves the votes because he stays on his grind, 09 is gonna be a three full length release year for him PLUS the slaughterhouse album. how many albums has 50 cent put out this year??………?
