DECEMBER 30th, 2008 New York, NY - Defsounds.com Set To launch Social Networking Site Honoring The Notorious B.I.G.
Defsounds.com, a leading Hip Hop web portal, today announced that it will be honoring the release of the forthcoming Biggie Smalls biopic, NOTORIOUS, with the launch of a social networking site dedicated to the rapper and his fans on January 5th, 2009.
Biggiesblock.com will aim to bring fans of the late great
Notorious B.I.G. together by providing them with various social
networking features such as personal profiles, comments, picture
gallery, activity feeds, and even their very own blogs while also
aggregating NOTORIOUS news around the web.
Biggiesblock.com will also feature exclusive content from NOTORIOUS. Fans will be treated to rare videos, pictures, and music as well as interviews from the cast and crew of the film.
The
story of the late great rapper, Christopher Wallace, is retold on the
big screen through the eyes of director George Tillman.
The film stars Golden Globe winner Angela Bassett as Christopher's
mother Voletta Wallace, Derek Luke as Sean Combs, Anthony Mackie as
Tupac Shakur and introducing Jamal Woolard as The Notorious B.I.G.
In just a few short years, The Notorious B.I.G.
rose from the streets of Brooklyn to become one of the most influential
hip hop artists of all time. B.I.G. was a gifted storyteller; his
narratives about violent life on the streets were told with a gritty,
objective realism that won him enormous respect and credibility. His
stories were universal and gave a voice to his generation.
The film also stars up and coming actors Antonique Smith, Naturi Naughton, Dennis White and Julia Pace Mitchell.
NOTORIOUS will be released by Fox Searchlight Pictures on January 16, 2009 while Biggiesblock.com will debut on January 5th, 2009.

i understand that their trying to promote the movie but thats kinda overdoing it..
pac still the greatest
Pac on the other hand, If you really listen you notice how intracate his rhymes were. Plus when you add to it the fact they his songs always had a point and stayed on topic, it makes it even more difficult to write.
Biggie was nice but he got alot of points for style and delivery, lyricism was off and on.
Miami DC perfer Versace
All Philly hoes go with Moscino
Every cutie with a booty boought a coogi
VSSomebody wake me I’m dreaming, I started as a seed through semen
Swimming upstream, planted in the womb while screaming
on the top, was my pops, my momma screaming stop
From a single drop, this is what they got
Major Payne like Damon Wayans
Lo down dirty even, like his brother Keenan
VSPerhaps I was addicted to the dark side
Somewhere inside my childhood witness my heart die
And even though we both came from the same places
The money and the fame made us all change places
fuck biggie pussy ass smalls
trash my shit nigga
also lyricly
‘pac told real stories and had real rhymes, real deep shit
like: trapped, life goes on, on my block, brenda’s got a baby, so much pain and so on and on
biggie aint got songs like that
Let me ask yall something. All yall niggas saying Pac is the better than Biggie, when were yall born? Most of your shits say 88’ 89’ and all that. I was about 12 when “All Eyez on me came out” that was around 96’. I wasn’t grown or nothing but I was fully aware of what was going on back then. Back then Pac was known as a hot rapper nothing more nothing less. After his death is when his fame blew up out of proportion. Yall niggas was in diapers (literally) when Pac was alive, WHAT THE FUCK YALL KNOW ABOUT 2PAC?? lol
It’s one thing to listen to his music after he died, but when the homie was still alive, he wasn’t considered the greatest. He wasn’t even the biggest rapper out of the west coast. Snoop was, hands down back then. In the early to mid 90s Snoop had the rap game on lock. That’s real talk. Pac was considered a big music artist after like Me Against the World. Then later on, his beef with Biggie catapulted his fame. Biggie didn’t need beef to blow up. Ready 2 Die was considered a classic off the bat!
Don’t get it twisted I love Pac’s music I know more about Pac than most of yall niggas, trust me. I just don’t like lil niggas praising Pac like he’s a God and shit. If you were born after 88’ you can’t tell me shit about 2pac. Straight up! Yall niggas were playing with Power Ranger toys when Dear Mama came out. How the fuck u gon school me on Pac??
Pac was the man after Juice, Me against the world then Poetic Jusice the All Eyes went quadruple platinum so fuck what you talkin bout.
Naw but this is just PROMO for the movie
Naw but this is just PROMO for the movie
how the fuck do you know more than crank dat?
crank dat killyoself
ReDef.
i he ws talking bout was cars, bitch, money, plains and shit like that. I think out both of em(pac&big) i think big got the biggest break by gettin killed cause that gave him the god mode shit.
I mean look at this shit, nobody ever gives pac propz, throughs partys, make’s movie’s, or amke special songs about tha nigga buy people still listen to him and never forget him. on the other hand biggie needs all this media shit to be kept alieve.
OH-VER-RATED!! DUN DUN DUNDUNDUN
he was good. good.
I’m glad you didn’t name it thisisbiggie.com lmao…
On another note I dont like to talk about who was better Pac or Big but I will say BIG was the greatest not only did he make hits but he freestyled alot of his songs……..People don’t know that about BIG but he did! So if you respect Jay-Z or even Lil Wayne on the freestyle tip you got to respect BIGGIE cuz thats where it came from……….Big is that nigga for life his swag his lyrics his following was Hardcore and he let niggas know what it was in the music you never had to guess what was going on! As far as Pac he didnt grasp me he wasnt ill to me and I looked at him as a fraud anyway but he helped alotta dudes and girls I know that were in a bad life get it right and thats where I respect Pac at……….regardless to the nasty comments & rumors people spreaded about him he always had a few positive or uplifting songs on his album that got real people in those real situation out! So u got to respect Big & Pac all that who’s better is not even important anymore! U know what makes you a Hip Hop Legend………………When You Bring Something To The Table?
