He’s probably still gonna drop random songs and freestyles from time to time before his albums come out.That way you wait in anticipation for any new material from that artist and that will more than likely boost your sales….Basically,He’s pulling a “Jay”.

mixtapes are pointless anyways, if rappers just focussed on making their albums AMAZING 10 of 10’s and didnt give flying fucks about mixtapes than id be buying albums. Look at only built 4 cuban linx II albums dope as fuck, look at the work raekwon put in on that album…not to mention its got 20 tracks on it. Shit man it be so sick if rappers focussed all their attention on just their albums..but im living in a dream world…FACK!
