"Apparently I'm Jack Bauer," rapper Asher Roth tells Dj Cipha Sounds and Paul Rosenberg this morning.
The rapper, who reportedly managed to subdue a would-be terrorist aboard an LAX bound Atlanta flight yesterday says that he really wasn't there to witness the action.
As Roth explains, it was actually his guitarist Chris Llewellyn who took action.
"Really, I had nothing to do with that. That's my man Chris Llewellyn--the guitarist/bassist for the band. He held it down and also ripped a solo on the Carson Daily show--he's the real hero. It was a beautiful day for him, I had nothing to do with that."
"He heard the 'help me! help me!' from the back of the plane and was the first to respond along with a couple of other gentleman and like--pinned the dude down. The guy was like "Yo I got a bomb, I got a bomb," but this is all hearsay... I wasn't actually there, I'm just glad Chris was there. That's a scary position to be in," Roth continues.
