50 Cent's BISD Debuts At #5
by on November 25th, 2009
Despite promotion almost second to none Curtis Jackson failed to crack 200,000, while pushing 161,200, respectively according to Neilsen Soundscan. This is 50's lowest first week sales of his career and the first time he didn't go gold with his first week numbers, excluding G-Unit's T.O.S. These numbers also include two weeks of digital sales on iTunes. His album did leak online almost a month in advance which undoubtedly affected his numbers.
50 Cent's arch-nemesis, Game, is always one to kick a man while he's down, taking to his twitter page.
Game’s thoughts via twitter:"#whitethoughts 50 used to be my nigga #blackthoughts this sucka n!gga album only sold 150,000 the 1st week… you can go head & destruct now" – IHateGame
Now Game is starting a new movement to help his "old friend" go gold.
"I'm startin a trending topic #help50goGOLD .," he wrote Monday (November 24). "if you'd like to contribute to my old friends sub-par album sales please just "RETWEET" this." - IHateGame

like wale sold 20k but, no one cares about that cause wale never talks about things like that and he is very humble.
FOR ALL THAT RICK ROSS FLOPPED THEN WHAT DID 50CENT DO.50CENT IS KNOWN BY THE WORLD AS ONE OF THE BIGGEST HIPHOP ARTIST.
KING
deserved more than how much it orinigally sold. 50 is just too cocky and needs to understand the music game aint the same no more, almost every older rapper does. Jus tlike Fabolous did, he noticed, that hood shit dont sell no more, now he spitting punchline after punchline on these r&b tracks, which was a smart move for him. 50 just needs to stick to businessmen shit.
i fuck with game tho.
thats worth more than p-money’s whole house and family income !!
You little white kids who suppport him, you’re the punchlines.
He’s the furthest thing from a talented hip hop/rap artist.
All the bitches loved it.
All the niggas at home were like ????
Banks and Game were even looking at the nigga like he was a weirdo.
If 50 would have never crossed over and started making Ja-Rule music I think he would still have the platinum sales weeks. Even the kids in the suburbs admit that 50 gave up his gangster.
Peeling on 50 for a lack of album sales is just good because hes the nigga that made it an issue to diss rappers about their numbers.
Either way 50 still a successful dude in the game. And the album hard…every dude I know he heard it say that shit hard. BISD is a GOOD ALBUM. 50 career resume aint bad..Curtis is the only bad album and still pulled in 2x platinum.
GRODT>Massacre>BISD(or the other way around)>>>>>>>>>>>>Curtis.
At least 50 still showed niggaz that he can still make good music cause a lot of yall thought he couldn’t no more. BISD still good either way.
If you honestly think it’s a good album, you don’t know the first fucking thing about good music.
It’s not anywhere near the level GRODT or even The Massacre. And it wont be going Gold simply because people dont pay for trash.
He talks all tht shxt about everyone else ; but when it comes to his own stuff , he’s full of excuses .
Just getting tired of his bulshxt . Period .
50 is VERY repetive in his music and honestly its gets boring . I’m not saying he sucks , he just rapps about the same shxt . Real artist EVOLVE and GROW , something he hasn’t done as a rapper .
“I’m not a “50 hater”, just not a fan. And considering the numbers he has done before and all the shxt he talks and dissing Jay-z ; this would definitely be considered a FLOP .”
Thats truth right there.
Life goes on.
Don’t get it twisted fif was dat nigga from 2000-2006 now he raps shit and hasn’t got any flow or punchlines left!!! BISD sucks ass on the same level as curtis by the way what a shit name for a album, nigga thought he could rip em’s shit (marshall mathers) and it would have da same efect. No nigga
The last joint i thought shit fif back was hollow thru him and rider pt 2 my link ting loved that shit u get me fam.
I’ve got older like all of us you new niggas that be thinking shit it hot need to check all the mixtapes and columbia albums<——- That’s the hot shit
TOS was hard man, that shit was dope.
Massacre was a more experimental from his original style, but still dope as fuck.
U just a hater, kill yourself.
So many 50 fans out there and on here and yet he only did that? I bet half of them didn’t even buy the album lol. (note how most of the comments against 50 are trashed lol)
Not a 50 fan myself…but as always I will admire him as a businessman. Can’t deny it.
And how you gonna rate the album an 8 and then turn around and bash it??
Or was that MrWhitefolks who rated it?
Or is MrWhitefolks your other account??
Now he can only buy himself a lamborghini for christmas instead of that Maybach he was hopin for
I dont really like 50 but he really doesnt have to sale records anymore anyway
He is filthy fuckin rich
BISD will go at least gold
Neither is Beans
And Yayo…………..lets not even talk about Yayo!
Ya’ll know the famous Jay-Z quote, recite it in your head one time for 50 lol.
1. This album was pushed back way too many times and fans started to loose intrest..period.
2. The mufucka leaked a month ahead of time and he had to move the date up to keep up wth the bootleggers.
2. Almost no features on his album. He coul have easily did a joint with some of the younger artist like Jay to capatolize from they buzz.
The album is the dopest mixtape ever!!! It’s grimey, gritty, and a ver solid album, but more of a mixtape feel.
At the end of the day this album will go platinum, because we have to account for overseas sales too. At the end of the day he wouldn’t need to sell another album i his life and he still wins. If this was a broke nigga who only sold 160k we would be saying this is good for him in this recession, but Fif is a victim of his own success and anything short of platinum is a fail for him.
How many rappers would like to be in those shoes?
What do you think that hes gonna die because of this? Cmon dawg, give me a break.
And stop saying Wayne, Wayne and Wayne.
hes done 10 mill with 6 albums and Fif done 30 mill with 3 albums, shit Wayne aint shit compared to Fif if you wanna talk record sales.
@wrongidea – yup…instead of focusin’ on Ross and Joe he should of been doin’ more promo.
its all good. 50 cent made this album for the fans by himself. he didnt need the help of weezy, drake, kanye or anyother rapper to carry him… (btw eminem doesnt count).
BISD is a really well crafter album and no matter the sales, i think 50 did a good job and should keep his head up. the hardest album of the year.
Eminem has helped 50 his whole career…
He’s been told many times that his opinion doesnt count, he just doesnt listen well.
I think’s part retard.
I brought Fab’s, Ghostface’s, Raekwon’s, Budden’s, Slaughterhouse’s, and Lupe’s albums. I just don’t feel 50 anymore…
But hey i guess now he can only buy a 15 million dollar home instead of a 20 million one perhaps.
in other words, nigga dont care, he rich as fuck.
I just said that.
I say whats on my mind, could give less of a fuck what people gotta say.
niggas aint got money to be buyin albums when they can git it for free. who cares about sales. hes already rich
U sound so stupid that i propped cuz i bet i would hurt ur feelings if i trashed lmfao
FINALLY
to bad 50 BEEN sellin more than JAY his WHOLE career until now
ja rule 1
50 cent 0
aint it more like:
50 cent: 0
ja rule: -10000
an thats why i DONT like game as a PERSON khuz he talks to much shit.
game BEEN doin numbers like these since he got KICKED OUT of the unit.
so what he tlkin shit for?
I wish I could prop you a million times man.
REAL TALK. REASON 1 – He dissed Jay. Think about it. This was Jay’s year. He came back with BP3, was at the top of his game, and came with a fresh new style that was different then his previous albums, in terms of flow, lyrics and production. Now 50 was doing great until that shit with Beans erupted. His publicity was amazing, I watched at least 20 interviews Fif did before the album dropped and you could tell he was working on his image in terms of trying to be more positive and mature. Then all of a sudden he disses Jay, and all of that positive publicity might as well never happened. It was a bad judgement call. 50 thought it would help the numbers because of the leak, but instead, it made 50 look like the bad guy, or even a hater, for calling out Jay for really no fucking reason at all. Like he gives a fuck about Beans, 50 dissed Jay out of desperation, and it bit him in the ass. The numbers he did reflect his hardcore fans buying the album, but everyone else i.e. the general public were probably turned off by 50’s low blow to Jay. He became the bad guy when he really didn’t have to.
2. I love BISD, but again, REAL TALK. The production is not NEW. Songs like Stretch and So Disrespectful sound like tracks that Dre could’ve produced 10 YEARS AGO. The are great beats but they’re not original enough to get people excited over an album and ESPECIALLY to combat a leak. Wayne bet the leak because he came with something different. Jay bet the leak because he came with something different, and people wanted to here it in it’s entirety. When 50’s songs started leaking you could tell the production was dated and this dulls the excitement for the general public. 50 has to go back to paying for the best producers to give him the hottest, AND NEWEST sounding productions, PERIOD. And I love almost every beat on the album, but it’s nothing we haven’t heard him do time and time again.
3. Lastly, the content. We, the hardcore 50 fans, love the content on this album. But to the public, this is just another gangster album full of the same old topics and themes. Look at the content on BP3, Jay understood that he had wider audiences to reach, so he switched it up and broadened the content. 50 KILLED every verse on this album, we know that, but for the general album they don’t here anything new enough to make them go out and buy, especially since they already had the leaked version.
Overall, 50 shouldn’t have dissed Jay, period, it was a desperate and insecure move, and he paid the price.
Props dog.
But fuck it. You get what you give.
No offense kid but it dosnt even make sense to me to pay for something I can get for free.
My favorite artists dont sell well anyway so fuck it. Cultures BEEN dead.
Im not lining these rap niggas pockets, they get paid son. Shit, if I caught one slippin I might even rob him just because.
The mixtapes are doper than the CDs most of the time anyway.
john cena? lmao get outta here!
i’d bet 50 cents that the game wont even surpass 100k for his album. Game’s a flip flop
Haha little 17 year old white kids are so street.
need a hint randalla?
Hey you know the website’s name, been there before? Ye prolly have, and prolly still do dicksucker.
U just a hater, go on, tell everyone to go to thisis50.com nigga, and give Fif the free promo. Hes smart enough to get arrogant dumbfucks like you to keep his name in yo mouth homie.
ICE!!!!!!!!!

Fif’s beefing with niggas has been his main downfall. His beef with Game alienated the whole west coast because they had no other platinum artist at that time, so they had to ride wit that stripper. He beefed with D-Block, Cam, Nas, and Joe which hurt him back home.
He had the Buck situation, and his issues with Ross and Khaled hurt him down south. All of the Jada stans, Fat Joe stans, Game stans, etc…won’t fuck with Fif no matter what he does or how good his album is. He choked them niggas to death and fans haven’t forgiven him fo it. Even though he didn’t start 99% of those beefs.
Fif should have made his 51st law…“be fearless while always showing a sense of humility”. Fif should have humbeled himself and settled all his issues by having Jada and D-Block on his album. He could have reached out to niggas and sured his situation up before he got all the backlash of his beefing with niggas favorite artist.
sallutte 50!!!
