Rappers 50 Cent, The Game, Common, Ice Cube, and Will.I.Am have all been beaten to the punch for the role of B.A. Baracus in the new A-Team movie by former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.

50 Cent, The Game, Common, Ice Cube, Will.I.Am, Ving Rhames, Michael Clark Duncan, and Tyrese Gibson were all rumored to play the rule with a few of them even going as far as confirming the part in recent interviews.

Rampage, who has been dubbed "the picture-perfect" casting, will be starting alongside Bradley Cooper and Liam Neeson.

According to the Vancouver Sun, Jackson has been removed from the UFC 107 card where he was set to face Sugar Rashad Evans in an Ultimate Fighter finale showdown, so he can appear in the film.

UFC President Dana White told reporters ahead of UFC 102 last week in Portland Oregon that he "hated" it when fighters decided to branch out into film careers.

"Guess what Rashad Evans is thinking about right now,” White said.

"He’s thinking about beating your fucking ass. He’s not sitting around thinking about how him and his mom used to watch the fucking Love Boat together and he wants to get the role of Isaac the bartender.’”

Jackson will be in Vancouver shooting the film for the next six weeks.

The A-Team is a TV series about a fictional group of ex-United States Army Special Forces who work as soldiers of fortune while being on the run from the military for a "crime they didn't commit."

It will be directed by Joe Carnahan who has worked with Common in the past on 'Smokin Aces.'
