A representative for T.I. says that he's finished six new tracks for the album inside a studio at his home in Georgia. He expects to release Paper Trail, in September of 2008. The album's title derives from the fact that T.I. is actually using pen and paper to write out his lyrics (a practice that he abandoned after his 2001 debut, I'm Serious). Each of his four albums, up to and including this year's T.I. vs. T.I.P., were not written by hand.
"He wanted to take more time to really put something down [this time]," His rep tells Entertainment Weekly.
T.I. was arrested last month in Atlanta after allegedly attempting to purchase several unregistered machine guns and silencers- a serious offense for a convicted felon. In addition, a federal search of his home
In other news…
allegedly resulted in the discovery of several other illegal firearms. The terms of T.I.'s bail require him to remain inside his house at all times while he awaits his trial, and it also strictly limits the number of guests who can visit him. This week, his legal team withdrew their request to allow some additional guests for a family meal on Thanksgiving.

I'm Serious went so hard...that CD was very creative....everything else afterwards gradually got worse...I have to disagree saying that I'm Serious was indeed TI's first album, but it did not even go Gold...even now when niggas are realizing it was real good, it didnt really put TI on the map...that would have been Trap Muzik that really put TI out there.
On another note, Im intrested to See TI's next move...hes gonna be under a magnifying glass for awhile so..

Lyrically, this album should easily be the best from TI.
the reason why is simple... ALL o TI's beats for the most part are BANGERS...and when you know you have Bangin' Beats...you really don't have to come as hard or as deep lyrically because the beat will grasp most of the listeners attention anyways.
Unfortunately, he probably has no definite idea of what particular beats he's going to be using, and he has soo much on his mind right now that it's probably just oozing out all over the paper so he could most likely care less about a beat for.
This album BETTER be THE ALBUM of ALL ablums from TI or I'm giving up.

You gotta look at what they are talking about. There are rappers that walk into the studio and Write down verses that they put in the song that same day, then there are rappers that go home and write shit to acapella, then theres the very small few that dont write at all. Jay-Z is the only one who made 3 whole CDs in 2 Hours(BluePrint, Blueprint Gift/Curse)...but I agree it is kinda weird that these rappers say they do zero writing when its lies...
